And this next one is a photo of a lovely Italian lady whom Alan used to do her mowing and gardening for every week, unless it was really raining. She would cook us a yummy 3 course meal when he was finished, and spoil him with a bottle or two of beer.I think she just loved having us there for company, as she never had children or got married...very sad and such a shame. She is 96 years old today. We haven't been to see her for awhile as she gets all funny with the boys there.Nervous that they might knock something over I spose.

Hope everyone who is experiencing the bad weather in the SE QLD or in southern WA are OK.Thinking of you and stay safe and warm.We had very cold temperatures last night, with frosts in places.Could be a chilly winter.Enjoy your weekend.

Mel, what a wonderful memory, make a date to go see her. The boys are old enough to understand. Speak to them beforehand, give them a small task to do for her perhaps..or some food to take to her...its a legacy of their fathers'...these special memories are lacking and missed by many in our society today... a wonderful memory documented Mel...very pretty page....why not show HER!! x
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love both the layouts, and the new look of your blog too. The colours in both are divine. I think Deb's idea is a good one about giving the boys a task to do. x
