A MUDGY SUNDAY

What a beautiful, happy day today has been. The boys got a yummy suprise in their nests this morning when they woke up, but were dissappointed when the bunny didn't get trapped.Steven was very unhappy as he really wanted to see what he looked like.Oh well, there is always next year.

I have been a real true blue MUDGER today.Girls from SP, you would be very proud and probably envious....LOL...I did manage to finish my LO I began yesterday when Mum and Justine came over for lunch and craft.I am really happy with how it has turned out, and loved using the DEJA VIEWS paper.I have had it sitting there for a few months and have been itching to use it.Love this paper. Here it is

Hope you all had a very HAPPY EASTER.

Easter So Far

Have a had a great couple of days so far.Friday was spent sleeping in....ahhhh pure bliss. Then I drove into Justines for a day of scrapping.I got all my cards finished for the CARD SWAP in SCRAP PILE.I think I am the last person to get them done, but at least I have finished them before the due date next Friday.I will post a few photos in a minute. We had a really nice day spent together, with Mum, Justine and I all scrapping. We hadn't sat around a table doing that for awhile. Before Justine bought Scrap-pile and work committments took over , we used to scrap every Friday.I think we all miss it.Mum made yummy Hamburgers, and then Justine and Mum made Patty cakes and Scones for afternoon tea.Was very spoilt I was.The boys had a lot of fun playing together, and then Joshua wanted to come and stay the night. Then after dinner, we had friends from up the road visit for a few hours. The house was thumping and lots of screaming was to be heard as they played Murder in the Dark. The Big Boys watched EVAN ALMIGHTY on the TV.
By 9 o'clock, Josh was off in LaLa Land...little guy was pretty tuckered out. Here are my photos of my cards.

Easter Saturday, and I had a little sleep in this morning, till 8am.Had a house full of little , noisy boys...so didn't get much quiet.Mum and Justine came over for Easter lunch which was great to all sit around the table and share together.Afterwards, we scrapped again.Mum and I nearly got a LO done( when I finish mine I will upload in here).Justine sat and cross-stitched.

Alan has been busy fixing his old Motorbikes he collects and does up.He got one of them going and I heard a lot of squealing coming from the back yard. After inspection, I saw the boys having turns riding with Dad around the yard while the other tries to catch them and hit Dad with a ball.I had to get my camera out.So here is a bit of what they were doing today.

Hope you who are reading , have been having as much fun as we have up here in the FAR North.

Another Rainy day in Paradise

Today was a good day, in many ways.I had a productive morning getting started on my cards for the swap.I know where I am going with them now.The SUN actually peeked through for about 30 minutes after lunch.I got excited and went out and thought I better mow the front lawn ,as it hasn't been mowed in about 3 weeks due to all the heavy rain.Need less to say though, I got about halfway through and it started raining again.Oh well ,at least I got the front part done.We have had nearly 1000mm of rain this month already.I got to speak to Leah for awhile this afternoon, as she helped me fix the mess I made in here.THANKS LEAH...you are a gem. Thanks to Tammy and Maree who also offered to help.I appreciate your offers girls.

Then my eldest son got to speak with his best buddy on the phone this afternoon. His mate left to go back to Kilcoy in late December and he misses him terribly. We all miss the Bell family. We want you to come back home guys.

I want to post a few photos that Alan took of he and youngest sons trip to Lake Tinaroo the weekend before last. The water is spilliing about 1 metre above the actual spillway

This is some photos of Steven wading in water, what he is actually doing is walking along the cement walking/bicycle path that he has ridden around many many times. The water used to be about 50 metres down from him in these pictures. So you can see we have had a lot of rain.

Not long till the EASTER BUNNY hops his way into all our homes this weekend.I have a couple of excited little men, waiting patiently for their choccy eggs.I am going to have to put my healthy eating on hold for the long weekend I think.I can't wait to see their faces again , as they get their treats. There is nothing like it in the world.....their look of wide-eyed innocence.Must remember to take plenty of photos.

I am off to make more of these cards.

I am now a blogger...eeekkk

Well, it has taken me two days to finally work it all out, so here I am .I don't know how regular I will be, but I will do my best.I have been stuffing around today, not really doing much, but should be doing my cards for Melanies card swap, she is holding in the forum at Scrap-pile.I think I should get off here now and make a move, or else my whole day will be wasted
