I don't think that I am a negative person,I always try to see the positive side of things, but the past couple of weeks have really taken it's toll on my emotional state.Paranoia about work has set in and wanting to do things and unable to do them is really getting to me.Even down to the simplest of things like taking a shower.Have to undress and place a bag over my leg, taping it up, and then hobbling into have a shower. All these things are so taken for granted when you are able to move around freely.I can't stand for long to cook dinner, wash dishes, being in a high set house, it is hard to get up and down the stairs.Yesterday, I nearly fell down them head first, so it has really made me re-think being able to go back to work.
Concerning work, I rang my boss this morning and talked about my concerns, and that I thought it would be easier for all involved that I don't come back for a few more weeks yet.She was great about it and understood, but then proceeded to tell me that she can't see me getting the 15 hours a week next year that I will HAVE TO WORK each week ....so centrelink has told me.So after getting off the phone and thinking too much...I start crying and thinking....well that is real great.Just what I needed to add to my already emotional state.Something about the fact that my hours are all dependent on special needs alocation/funding, and that she can't see me getting much of a regular timetable.
So i am sitting here now tears running down my face, as I feel like all is against me right now.I know it really isn't as bad as all that, but with the way I am feeling....it does to me.I know there are lots of people in the world a lot worse off than me, but it doesn't make me feel any better. All I can say is, that I wish I hadn't gone and played that darn game of tennis.Life would be a lot simpler.
If you managed to read all the way through this drivel, then you have done well.Hopefully next time I post , things will be a lot brighter.

My first broken bone
Well, last Thursday night while playing tennis with a few friends from work, I jumped up to hit a ball back and landed down hard twisting my right foot to the outside.I heard a crack, and fell like sack of potatoes...LOL...and tears springing to my eyes.Feeling like a dill, but worried that I had broken it.The girls wrapped it for me and Trish drove me home in my car.Alan got ice packs etc and then re-wrapped it.I didn't have a good nights sleep.

One thing though, it is given me some time to scrap, which has been very therapeautic. Here is a card I did for Jewls challenge in Scrap-Pile.
And a couple of LO's that I finished yesterday and this morning.I love the new BG ranges, Ambrosia and Granola especially.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment, as I love to read them and love that you visit.Hope you all have had a very happy, scrappy weekend. Here's to a better week ahead.Thursday, October 9, 2008
My Baby turns 7
This time 7 years ago, I was mum to my second son Steven. It was a couple of hard months as I found out he had reflux, but then he settled down once we had worked out how to help him.He also became afflicted with ECZEMA from the age of 4 months.I remember putting him down to sleep one day, and about half an hour later I heard him screaming.I went in and he was covered in blood.I was a wreck, raced to pick him up and found that he had scratched himself all over.He still has it today, but we are always treating it.
Kisses and Hugs for Mum, even though I have just gotten out of bed and look terrible..LOL
A very happy 7 year old at the end of the day, playing with his Transformer.HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS BOY.....Love you as deep as the Ocean. xxoo Mum.

Hi Ho , Hi Ho it's back to work I go
It is that time again, and boy did the holidays go fast.Did anyone else think the same thing, or was it just me? First week was our time away at the beach, but last week was spent at home and it was wonderful.Did a lot of scrapping and cardmaking...Jewls, I think you would be proud of me...LOL. Here are a few to look at : These were for my challenge for World Card Making Day at Scrap-Pile On Saturday. We had a stamp image swap the week before and then had to make 3 cards , using the stamps and using dimension.

These are some I made on Friday and Saturday.

Then I made this card for Jewls "Blind card" challenge....
I also have my first Challenge happening in the Scrap-Pile Forum.I am" Week 1" each month, and my challenge is to create a LO using as many products from the one manufacturer. This months is PRIMA MARKETING.A favourite company of mine and they are making some delicious products lately. Here is my example for this challenge. I used photos from good friend and recently retired DT member Leah.I couldn't upload a picture until she had received it.

Last Friday, I had a dreaded DENTIST appointment, as I needed to get some work done.Lo and behold, I ended up having a molar pulled out, and no it didn't hurt at the time( he is a very gentle man), but blimey it has hurt ever since...until today.I actually don't need panadol anymore , and I had my first cup of coffee this afternoon. You don't realize how much you miss these simple things until you can't have them.....like a piece of chocolate.mmmmmm....C.H.O.C.O.L.A.T.E
Anyhow , hope you all had a lovely scrappy weekend, creating cards and LO's.Take care of you and yours...till next time.

Scrapping away my Holidays
Just wanted to share a few LO's that I have done in the past few days.It is so nice to have the time to sit and think, and take sometime to scrap instead of rushing it.I have really been cherishing the last few days. The boys and I have been sleeping in and snuggling together every morning....so nice and I reckon they like it too, cause they keep coming back, like a bad smell...LOL.

This is my second DT LO, trying my hand at Monochromatic. It was scary,as I had never tried one before.I really like how it has turned out though.Might have to do another soon.
Then this one is using a piece of CS that I made into a piece of patterned paper using paint, and bubble wrap. While we were away last week at the beach, I got the perfect photo of my little man.He is growing up before my eyes.
