Thanks Helen

I was inspired by a card Helen made using the Kaiser Sakura paper range. So I gave it a go , while also using my embossing folders and spellbinders.I still don't know If I am happy with what I came up with but anyhow here it is.

I am so excited. This Thursday, I am flying to Brisbane with Helen for a 3 night stay.I will be staying with Leah, very excited, and Helen with Shan.We will be meeting up with so many lovely gals from Scrap-pile, that I can hardly contain my excitement.I am also going to IKEA with Leah, as I really want to get some shelves to organise my scrap room better.

On Saturday, at midday, about 15 girls from Scrap-pile will all be getting together and having a 9 hour crop. Can't wait to see all your girls .Not long now.See most of you soon

xx Mel

I have become a Cardaholic

It's official, I am a Cardaholic...and loving it.I just can't stop.Have no urges to scrap any LO's at all recently, so why not give in to this urge to make cards.

So here they are, my spoils from the Easter weekend.

It has been good though, as I have been using up some bits and pieces of paper that have been left over.
We had a wonderful Easter weekend, very busy the first couple of days , but then it quietened down. The boys have been making cards with me as well, I think I may have to hide my stash somewhere/somehow....don't know how I am going to do that though..LOL.Will take some pictures and post soon.
Always love having you drop by for a look and leaving a comment. It makes my day.Have a great rest of your week.

William turns 10

Oh my gosh, my baby is now in double digits. How scary is that? Wonderful as well, but it is all going too fast.I remember when he was a baby in my arms...doesn't seem all that long ago really.

Yesterday saw William waking up with the birds , and coming in to snuggle in bed with me for awhile , until he couldn't wait any longer to open his pressies.Stevo was still snoring for awhile. It was really nice to just spend those quality minutes with just Grub....His nickname.

Here are some photos of his morning and gifts.

His prized SHELBY COBRA , my boy is mad about cars.

He also loves his Lego.He wanted a set that creates the EIFFEL TOWER, but guess how much it is???? $400-00.You can imagine what I said, you can wait till you grow up and make your own money to purchase that one...LOL.

And his very own little Aquarium , which will have a few Tetras in it, next time I go to town.

Does he look happy or what!!!!! And I may be biased, but my big double digits boy is a real cutie too.Love you Grub!!!

So the rest of the day was quite busy with visitors.Mum, Justine and Joshua came over for lunch and Bday cake around 11:30 am.He got thoroughly spoilt by his Nana and Auntie Jus.Mum got him a Stereo system, and Auntie Jus gave him a gift card to buy himself some music.

He also got lots of other gifts.Jewls sent him a gift card, Ed gave him $30, Auntie Sharon, Gary and Sharaya gave him a 1:25 scale car and $20.I think I might have to hit him up for a loan.LOL. Then his Best buddy , who is up from Kilcoy, came to stay the night, and Joshua stayed too.We had Auntie Sharon, Gary and Sharaya come for a BBQ dinner.Phew I am tired just typing all this. They left around 10pm .I let the boys stay up a bit later, due to it being a special day , and they hadn't seen each other since Christmas.

I made a vanilla Birthday cake with Strawberry Icing and chocolate sprinkles.Yummy.

I think it was a happy day, one which he will remember in years to come....especially after I scrap these photos.LOL

YAY I scrapped again

After my card making frenzy a few weeks ago, I hadn't scrapped a LO in ages.Yesterday, I sat down with the gorgeous BELLA PP, add a couple of wedding photos , a bit of bling etc and there you are...I have completed a LO in a few hours.

I have decided now that every time I make a LO, I will use the paper scraps to make a few cards, so here are the three I made over the weekend.

The little bear was a stamp I got with a magazine last week.Isn't he cute.My first time using water colour pencils too

Then this is the Sympathy card I made for Josh and Kiannha to give after the funeral last Monday.Love the embossing folders and Nesties.

Don't know about all of you, but I have had a perfectly lazy, scrappy weekend.I really couldn't ask for more, could I? Not long till the EASTER BUNNY arrives.I have Williams B'day next Friday, I cannot believe he is going to be in double digits....the big 10. Where has that time gone!!! My baby is getting bigger.

Wishing you all a terrific 4 day week, then school holidays yippeeeee!!!!
