Scrapping since retreat

Yes I have been scrapping and making cards since retreat, so will share with you now. This first one was for a challenge at SCRAP THERAPY...I forgot to upload into the Gallery though.



I actually did a double...first time in years.Leone you will remember these places.

This next LO with the denim was a class I did with Miss Sammi at the Scrap Therapy in Babinda.I actually sewed ( shock horror) and made the flowers.Cool as!!!!!!

Back to work tomorrow...no more holidays till Spetember, which is 9 weeks and 3 days away...not that I am counting or anything..LOL. I do love my job. Just really enjoyed this holidays and the boys were so good.We went camping for the first week out to O'Briens again and I found a good haul of Topaz this time..over 20 good stones, that can be cut.Makes me want to go out again and again, especially when the weather is so warm and glorious out there.Not like the drizzly, grey skies we have here and have had for the past 5 months.
It's tax time, hope to get mine done soon, how about you?

Scrap Therapy Retreat

As promised here are some things I made at the Scrap Therapy Retreat back in the end of May..( click on link to pay your deposit for next years Retreat...you won't be disappointed).
First up was Lisa Pate's class , with how to make 5 LO's with just one kit..I managed to do four.I loved this class, and the papers were so yummy..good ole Basic Grey.



Then on the Saturday, the very talented painter/scrapper extraordinaire Carol Mead taught a class using Mixed Media.We made a canvas using lots of different techniques.Something that I really hope to do again real soon.
Miss Mandy, Uber talented, shabby Chic scrapper, taught us this gorgeous class on the Sunday morning.I loved it and it was sooo easy.How cool is that music paper!!!!!!!
Lastly this was a challenge set by Carol to use a flower we made during her class, so I used our retreat photo and sprayed a little glimmer mist.

So , I hope you liked what you saw, there are no excuses now, get your butts over to Scrap Therapy and pay your deposit for next years.I tell you it was the best THREE DAYS I have had, with the bestest bunch of ladies, and 1 guy.

I am still alive and kicking, even though, sadly my blog has been seriously neglected.

I have seen quite a few of Leahs designs over the last couple of years, and didn't hesitate to have her design my Blog , when she announced she was introducing all her newest products on her ...Web Design Business.

Leah was in contact with me straight away, asking what colours I liked, designs etc...and would send me a copy of her designs , at each stage, to see if I liked it. I loved that she was so easy to talk to and would quite happily change anything I didn't want on my blog design.Leah, you were patient and very professional in all your dealings with me.
You only have to look at the end result of my blog to see how fabulous it is...I would highly recommend INSTYLE WEB DESIGN, to design your new Business web pages, logos , blog pages etc and I will certainly be using them again if I need to in the future.
