First post for May

Far out, where is this year going!!!!! Nearly half way through already. It will be Tax time and then they will start talking and advertising for Christmas.
I am getting excited as I am off on a retreat with 34 other girls and a guy from Scrap Therapy, in 2 weeks time.Am so looking forward to just chilling out with like minded gals and not having to worry about the boys and all the usual home stuff that has to be done.
Anyhow, have been making loads of cards lately, as I have been selling them at work, which is some nice pocket money for me to spend at retreat on new goodies Lee-Anne has ordered in.
I bought some Bella" EVER AFTER' from Spotlight a few weeks ago, as I had a wedding card to make for Steve's teacher. So made quite a few from these papers as well as a LO.Sorry bout the terrible photos, we have had non stop cloudy grey skies..not good for taking photos

Have a fantastic weekend....it is finally looking like the clouds are going to break and blue skies again...yippeeeee

  5. Hi beautiful, thankyou for your lovely comment hun. Just to let you know about my tree card, to get the coloured effect around the tree i used Tim Holtz Milled Lavendar ink pad & i used a foam pad & gently rubbed it around the card to give it that effect. Another way you can do it for a more deckled effect is to use a stipple brush or even a paint brush to dab around the area you want coloured. Oh how sweet that Lee-Anne's hubster is going to help out at the retreat, he is very brave with all of those women!!!.
Once again hun your cards are so beautiful. Hugs Clare xxx
