Another week gone...

I can't believe how quick the weeks are flying by.Good for me though , as it gets me just a little bit closer to the school holidays and having a break. It is terrible ,but I am counting down the days....20 work days to go,hehe..Justine and I are off to Kurrimine Beach with the boys for 5 nights in the first week, so you can imagine just how excited we all are. This will be our second trip to the beach this year, with our first one back in April to Port Douglas.

The weather has mostly been gorgeous lately and starting to slowly warm up...thank gosh. With the sniff of Spring in the Air, I have been doing a bit of cleaning.Got all the windows done yesterday inside and out, and Alan has scrubbed all the walls down outside. It is terribly hard to do this house as it is a two storey old Qld'er.I hope to get all the walls celings done in the second week of the school holidays, so it feels all fresh and clean for Christmas.....eeeekkkk only 3 and 1/2 months till Christmas now.

I have been scrapping the past couple of weeks and using the new ROSE MOKA PP/alpha stickers.I tell you this would have to be the MOST GLORIOUS patterned paper I have used.I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it, and can't stop using it.I have made 3 LO's so far. Here is the latest two

I have been watching a LOT of the Beijing Olympics and staying up wayyy too late some nights, but have really enjoyed it and have cried a little too...tears of JOY of course.Like when Sally Mc Clellan won Silver for the Hurdles, Steven Hooker getting Gold in the mens Pole Vault,The little Chinese Gymnast who made a mistake with her floor routine( heartbraking) and then there was the German man in the Weightlifting who broke the Olympic record , won Gold and dedicated it to his wife who tragically died last year.OMG , and what about Mathew Mitchum winning Gold in the mens 10 m diving....INCREDIBLE.All feel good stories, but put a lump in your throat and tears to your eyes.I think I will be sad to see it gone.Looking forward to the next one in London in 2012.
